Basketball Recap: Navajo Prep Extends Winning Streak to Three

Navajo Prep waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Wingate Bears by a score of 58-49. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Navajo Prep's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Wingate, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Navajo Prep will welcome Crownpoint at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. As for Wingate, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Tohatchi at 7:00 p.m. Tohatchi will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Wingate surely won't give up without a fight.
