Volleyball Recap: Triopia/Virginia Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

Triopia/Virginia hadn't done well against Orion recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Chargers. The Trojans were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Chargers, so the Trojans were just returning the favor.

Payten Petefish paced Triopia/Virginia's offense, picking up six kills. Petefish got some help from Lucie Dion and her ten assists. Ava Petefish controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Triopia/Virginia is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Orion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-12.

Triopia/Virginia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Monmouth United on the 11th. As for Orion, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Henry-Senachwine on the 11th.
