Soccer Recap: Workman Takes a Loss

Workman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 11-2 to the Bassett Olympians. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1202nd, while the Olympians are ranked 455th).

Workman's record now sits at 0-18-1. As for Bassett, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Workman will welcome Pomona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Workman is facing Pomona at the right time seeing as Pomona is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Bassett has already played their next contest (against La Puente), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
