Volleyball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Fresno Christian Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-27, 25-14, 25-14.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fresno Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-21 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wonderful College Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Fresno Christian, they will face off against Selma at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
