Softball Recap: Gadsden Comes Up Short

Gadsden lost against Organ Mountain last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell 9-4 to the Knights. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abygail Rodriguez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jazmin Alcantar, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Gadsden's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Organ Mountain, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Knights beat Gadsden by a score of 17-7 later that day.
