Volleyball Recap: Joliet West Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Joliet West can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yorkville Foxes on Saturday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Foxes earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Drew Johnson paced Joliet West's offense, picking up eight kills. Johnson got some help from Nolan Fellows and his 14 assists. Fellows was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Joliet West has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 23-12 record this season. As for Yorkville, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-21.

As of now, neither Joliet West nor the Foxes have any future games scheduled.
