Football Game Preview: Goodrich Martians vs. Gladwin Flying G's + How To Watch

The Goodrich Martians will face off against the Gladwin Flying G at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Goodrich sitting on 21 straight victories dating back to last season and Gladwin on five.

While Goodrich's win against Fenton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Martians pulled ahead with a 21-20 photo finish over the Tigers on Sunday. Given the Martians' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Tigers are ranked 87th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gladwin). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Harrison 63-30. The result was nothing new for the Flying G's, who have now won three matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Goodrich's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Gladwin, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
