Basketball Recap: Lookeba-Sickles Comes Up Short

Lookeba-Sickles lost against Duke back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lookeba-Sickles Panthers were outmatched by the Duke Tigers and fell 88-44. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Tigers are ranked 40th).

Lookeba-Sickles dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Duke, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Lookeba-Sickles will venture away from home to square off against Geary at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Duke, they will be home for the holidays to greet Granite at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Granite has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
