Baseball Recap: Pleasant Grove Takes a Loss

Pleasant Grove saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 7-3 to the Liberty Patriots. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pleasant Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Liberty, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-10.

Pleasant Grove and Liberty could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 209th) will meet Franklin (ranked 41st) at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Liberty will challenge Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank disadvantage (213 vs. 95).
