Recap: Grace Christian Academy Crusaders vs. Wilmington Wildcats
The Grace Christian Academy Crusaders's game on Tuesday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell to Wilmington 40-34. Grace Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Grace Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Natalie Dalton. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 rebounds. The contest was Dalton's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Chloe Dandurand was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Grace Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wilmington, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Beecher at 7:00 p.m. on November 27th. Beecher is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Wilmington, they will head out on the road to face off against Reed-Custer at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Reed-Custer focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Monday.
