Basketball Game Preview: Leflore County Tigers vs. Riverside Bulldogs

The Leflore County Tigers will head out to challenge the Riverside Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leflore County is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Leflore County came up short against Charleston and fell 42-33.

Leflore County's loss came about despite a quality game from Antionette Holston, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Holston has posted since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Riverside's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 32-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Charleston.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Leflore County, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Leflore County didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Riverside in their previous meeting two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 36-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Leflore County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
