Hillcrest saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Joplin Eagles.

The win didn't come easy: Joplin scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21.

Lillie Moore paced Hillcrest's offense, picking up eight kills. Moore got some help from KeAshza Roy and her 15 assists.

Hillcrest's victory bumped their record up to 2-7-1. As for Joplin, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Hillcrest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Willard on the 13th. As for Joplin, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lebanon on the 13th.
