Soccer Recap: King Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, King was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lamar Texans, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Texans are ranked 67th).

King now has a losing record at 1-2-1. As for Lamar, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

King didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Magnolia West on the 10th. Lamar has also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Cypress Springs on the 10th.
