Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scappoose). They put the hurt on the Astoria Fishermen with a sharp 72-52 win on Saturday. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Fishermen are ranked 219th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Scappoose is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Astoria, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
