Volleyball Game Preview: Lake View Wildcats vs. Latin Romans

The Lake View Wildcats will head out to take on the Latin Romans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake View is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Lake View came up short against Whitney Young and fell 2-0.

While Lake View ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Latin earned a 2-0 win over Lake Forest Academy on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Romans in their matchups with the Caxys: they've now won four in a row.

Latin not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lake Forest Academy between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18.

Latin's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-11. As for Lake View, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-1.
