Softball Recap: Fivay Takes a Loss

After soaring to 23 runs the game before, Fivay was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pasco Pirates, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost five in a row.

Janie Badu made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one run.

Fivay's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Pasco, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Fivay will be playing in front of their home fans against Zephyrhills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Pasco does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
