Volleyball Recap: Greenbrier's Loss Ends Ten-Game Winning Streak at Home

Greenbrier was the 2-0 winner over Glynn Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolfpack fell just short of the Terrors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Among those leading the charge was Kara Burandt, who had ten digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Greenbrier's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Glynn Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Greenbrier didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against St. Vincent's on the 16th. As for Glynn Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Evans on the 16th.
