Volleyball Recap: Sweetwater Takes a Loss

Sweetwater saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Falcons by a score of 2-1.

Jaeden Brown paced Sweetwater's offense, picking up 15 kills. Brown got some help from Sergio Salazar and his 30 assists. Brown and Salazar didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Sweetwater's defeat dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Sweetwater has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Centennial on the 5th. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canyon Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
