Basketball Recap: Pecatonica Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lena-Winslow on Friday, Pecatonica came back down to earth. The Pecatonica Indians were outmatched by the Central/Southeastern Panthers and fell 62-33.

Pecatonica's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Central/Southeastern, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Pecatonica and Central/Southeastern should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Pecatonica (ranked 55th) will meet Durand (ranked 576th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Central/Southeastern will face off against Rushville-Industry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday up 448 places (21 vs. 469).
