Volleyball Recap: Elite Comes Up Short

Elite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Creative Connections Arts Academy Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-12, 23-25, 25-19, 25-12.

Elite's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Creative Connections Arts Academy, they moved to 4-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Elite will square off against rival Leroy Greene Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Creative Connections Arts Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Esparto at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
