Recap: South Gallia Rebels vs. Glenwood Tigers

The South Gallia Rebels put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Glenwood 70-28 at home. South Gallia's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Morgan Lyons continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Lyons set a new season high mark in steals with six. The team also got some help courtesy of Macie Sanders, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals.

South Gallia's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.27 points. As for Glenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

South Gallia will head out on the road to face off against South Webster at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th. Hopefully South Webster focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Monday. Glenwood won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Adena at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th. Adena presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Glenwood in Ohio (Adena is ranked 24th, while Glenwood is ranked 450th).
