If Capistrano Valley was riding high fresh off their 69-48 takedown of Los Angeles CES on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars fell 51-46 to the Edison Chargers on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost four in a row.

Capistrano Valley now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Edison, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Capistrano Valley will take on Cabrillo at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Edison, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mission Viejo at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
