Meanwhile, Central faced Barrington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights strolled past the Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 37-21.

Central's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for North Kingstown, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
