Soccer Recap: Great Oak Starts off Right with Win over Elsinore + How To Watch

Great Oak had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the Elsinore Tigers a 4-0 shutout. The score was close at halftime, but Great Oak pulled away in the second half with three goals.

They hit Elsinore with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ryder Hadley (2), Mathias Oseguera, and Grayson Perez.

This is the second loss in a row for Elsinore and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Great Oak will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Palm Desert at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Elsinore, they will head out on the road to square off against Murrieta Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elsinore will need to watch out since Murrieta Valley have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
