After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Lakeside Lutheran was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Lake Mills L-Cats, posting a 65-36 win. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the L-Cats are ranked 346th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakeside Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Paige Murphy led the charge by dropping a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadia Murphy, who en route to 14 points and six boards.

Lakeside Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points over those games. Lake Mills is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.

Lakeside Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-32 victory against Campbellsport on the 25th. Lake Mills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
