San Ramon Valley entered their tilt with Carondelet on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Cougars 27-8. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Cougars are ranked 196th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The critical scores for San Ramon Valley came from Hania Bowes, Asha Hanger, Tatum Prindiville, and Kendall Layous.

One reason for the win was San Ramon Valley's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Emma Kozak was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three herself. She is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as she's now posted at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Prindiville got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

San Ramon Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Carondelet, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
