It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cedar Grove had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Harlem Bulldogs by a score of 61-48. The victory was nothing new for the Saints as they're now sitting on 17 straight.

Yusef Bowyer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 18 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keith Gillespie, who posted 12 points.

Despite the loss, Harlem still got an impressive performance from Aj Williams, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Jayden Futrell, who scored four points along with eight rebounds, five assists, and five blocks.

Cedar Grove pushed their record up to 25-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points over those games. As for Harlem, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-15.

Coming up, Cedar Grove will take on Luella on Saturday. Cedar Grove knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 matchups -- so hopefully Luella likes a good challenge. Harlem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
