Basketball Recap: North Davidson Takes a Loss

North Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Central Davidson Spartans and fell 54-25. The Black Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-9.

Central Davidson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Raegan McCarn, who went 7 for 16 to rack up 27 points. Those 27 points gave McCarn a new career-high. Bethany Myers was another key player, putting up ten points and seven rebounds.

North Davidson's record is now 5-15. As for Central Davidson, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Looking ahead, North Davidson will square off against Salisbury at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central Davidson, they will take on Oak Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Grove will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Central Davidson surely won't give up without a fight.
