Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ahnnayah Jhazmyn Buenaflor and Ashley Chen Lead Milpitas to Victory + How To Watch

Palo Alto typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Milpitas proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Vikings two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

The final score came out to 25-23, 26-24, 25-17.

Leading Milpitas to victory were Ashley Chen and Ahnnayah Jhazmyn Buenaflor. Chen had seven aces and six digs, while Buenaflor had six digs and two aces. Those seven aces gave Chen a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Milpitas was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Milpitas' victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for Palo Alto, with the loss, they broke their 13-match winning streak and moved their record to 21-7.
