            Baseball Preview: Dumont Huskies vs. Leonia Lions        
        
		
        
        
            The Dumont Huskies will face off against the Leonia Lions at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Leonia took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Dumont, who comes in off a win.
Dumont is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They put the hurt on Hasbrouck Heights with a sharp  20-10 win on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Huskies considering their two-run performance the  contest before.
 Dylan Mendez was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jarrett Carramusa, who  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Dumont  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in three consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Leonia lost  8-2 to North Arlington on Thursday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Dumont is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Leonia, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
