Football Recap: Independence Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thursday just wasn't the day for Independence's offense. They were outmatched by the Coahoma County Red Panthers and fell 30-0. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Keyvon Gardner threw for 77 yards on seven of 14 attempts. Marquiez Goodman was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards.

Independence now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Coahoma County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Independence will square off against Booneville at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. Coahoma County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
