Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Salpointe Catholic walked away with it. They never let the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Salpointe Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven games. As for ALA - Queen Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
