Basketball Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

Canton lost against Washington back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Canton Little Giants took a 47-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Washington Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Little Giants have lost by exactly 13 points.

Canton dropped their record down to 7-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canton will host Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Washington, they will take on Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
