Baseball Recap: Butler County Comes Up Short

Butler County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Edmonson County Wildcats. The game marked the Bears' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Butler County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Edmonson County, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7-1.

While Butler County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
