Football Recap: Frederick Skates Past Greeley West with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Monarch, Frederick was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Greeley West Spartans 40-6. The Golden Eagles' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Sonny Delpizzo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 119 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making two total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending two passes.

Frederick's run defense was locked in: Greeley West could only muster 3.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Christian Inserra for the heroic effort on defense: he. Frederick didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 13.9.
