Volleyball Recap: Walnut Ridge Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walnut Ridge can now relate to. They came up short against the Hoxie Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

Walnut Ridge has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Hoxie, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8.

As of now, neither Walnut Ridge nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
