            Baseball Recap: Frederick Gunn Highlanders vs. St. Luke's Storm        
        
		
        
        
            Frederick Gunn's found some homefield redemption this week after a  overtime loss to Berkshire School on Friday. The Highlanders came out on top against the St. Luke's Storm by a score of  6-3. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Highlanders as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
 Travis Lapinsky was a  major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. Those  two  RBI gave  him a new career-high.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Cam Willis, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Evan Bailey, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Frederick Gunn  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Luke's struck out eight times.
Frederick Gunn's record is now 3-10. As for St. Luke's, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frederick Gunn will host Berkshire School  at 1:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for St. Luke's, they will welcome Greenwich Country Day  at 4:43  p.m.  on Monday.
