Basketball Recap: Waverly/South Shore Comes Up Short

Waverly/South Shore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 33-23 to the Northwestern Area Wildcats. The Coyotes lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 46-15 score last time.

Waverly/South Shore's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Northwestern Area, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Waverly/South Shore nor Northwestern Area have any future games scheduled.
