Football Recap: Hinsdale South Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hinsdale South extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-5. They were dealt a 63-0 defeat at the hands of the Glenbard West Hilltoppers. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Isaiah Burton threw for 51 yards on four of ten attempts. Ben Miller was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

As for Glenbard West, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.4 points on average over those games.

Glenbard West got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Walti out in front who rushed for 70 yards and three scores on only five carries. Those rushing touchdowns marked the first that Walti has punched in this season. Brody Goerig was another key player, rushing for 81 yards and one TD.

Hinsdale South has already played their next game, a 29-27 loss against Downers Grove South on the 10th. As for Glenbard West, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-20 victory against Hinsdale Central on the 10th.
