Volleyball Recap: Vanden Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Vanden had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Rodriguez Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-14, 25-21.

Among those leading the charge was Jonah Victorio, who had nine assists and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last 12 matches.

Vanden's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-11. As for Rodriguez, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Vanden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rodriguez, they will head out to challenge North Hills Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
