Soccer Game Preview: First Coast vs. Baker County

First Coast hasn't had much luck against Baker County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The First Coast Buccaneers will be playing at home against the Baker County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. First Coast knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Baker County likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, First Coast made easy work of Westside and carried off a 6-1 win. Considering the Buccaneers have won ten matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Westside from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Jean-Charles Wins-Snaarley led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Baker County unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They and Baldwin finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw. The result kept the Wildcats happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 12, 2024.

First Coast pushed their record up to 12-5-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those six games. Baker County's draw makes their record 7-2-3 this season.
