Basketball Recap: Meeteetse Takes a Loss

Meeteetse lost against St. Stephens back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Meeteetse Longhorns were outmatched by the St. Stephens Eagles and fell 74-37. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Meeteetse lost, don't look at Johnathan Ogden. Despite the final result, he posted 15 points and seven boards. Those 15 points gave Ogden a new career-high. Gordon Justice also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

Meeteetse's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for St. Stephens, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Coincidentally, Meeteetse and St. Stephens will both be playing Dubois the next time they take the court. St. Stephens will host Dubois at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Meeteetse will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
