Robinson can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Connally Cadets as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Robinson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-23.

Robinson's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 20-14. As for Connally, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Robinson will take on rival Gatesville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Connally is set to face off against their familiar foe La Vega at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
