Soccer Recap: Marion Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Marion came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Carbondale Terriers, falling 4-0. One thing that didn't help Marion's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Drake Garrett.

Marion's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Carbondale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Marion is set to square off against their familiar foe Mt. Vernon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carbondale will take on rival Centralia at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
