Volleyball Recap: New Life Christian Academy Gets the Win

New Life Christian Academy took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Hattiesburg HomeSchool, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles skirted past the Forerunners 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Forerunners back in August, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day New Life Christian Academy got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 15-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-8.

New Life Christian Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hattiesburg HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

New Life Christian Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Jackson HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Hattiesburg HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Varsity Opponent on the 18th.
