Heritage Hills is 8-0 against Evansville Reitz since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Heritage Hills Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Evansville Reitz Panthers at 12:30 p.m. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Carlie Still and Bailey Hape.

Heritage Hills came up short against Indian Creek on Friday, falling 51-29. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Mia Becher, who posted eight points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mayci Litherland, who had 13 points.

Meanwhile, Evansville Reitz waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They had just enough and edged the Warriors out 56-53.

Heritage Hills better keep an eye on Hape. She was instrumental in Evansville Reitz's win, putting up 28 points and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hape has scored at least a third of Evansville Reitz's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaelyse Mitchell, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Heritage Hills now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Evansville Reitz, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Heritage Hills has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 20.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Evansville Reitz struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
