Basketball Recap: Valley Heights Comes Up Short

Valley Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 67-53 bruising from the Blue Valley Rams. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly 14 points.

Valley Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Blue Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley Heights and Onaga will face off at 4:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. As for Blue Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Centralia at 7:10 p.m. on Friday.
