Preview: Seminole Seminoles vs. Hagerty Huskies
The Seminole Seminoles will head out on the road to face off against the Hagerty Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seminole is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Seminole won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 57-30 loss at the hands of Deltona. Seminole has not had much luck with Deltona recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
In what's become a running theme this season, Hagerty gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. Everything went their way against Lake Howell as Hagerty made off with a 62-37 win. Given Hagerty's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Lake Howell is ranked 323rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Seminole's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Hagerty, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Seminole suffered a grim 61-40 defeat to Hagerty when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Thankfully for Seminole, Hannah Kohn (who scored 27 points along with two steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
