Football Recap: Oakdale Skates Past Lincoln with Ease + How To Watch

Everything came up roses for the Oakdale Mustangs against the Lincoln Trojans on Friday as the team secured a 70-30 victory. With the Mustangs ahead 56-22 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Oakdale's defense made their presence known, laying out Julian Perez. three times. Wes Burford was especially locked on to Lincoln's QB and sacked him twice. Burford's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 15th straight game with at least 108 rushing yards dating back to last season.

The win got Oakdale back to even at 1-1. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakdale will face off against Escalon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln, they will challenge Rocklin at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
