Basketball Recap: Gans' Losing Streak Snapped at 13 Games

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gans). They snuck past the Arkoma Mustangs with a 31-26 win on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Grizzlies as it put an end to their 13-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Gans' win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-11. As for Arkoma, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Gans will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Midway at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Arkoma, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-36 loss against Weleetka on the 18th.
